Automotive air-conditioning radiator manufacturers offer finned radiators, which can be categorized by fin structure into: wrapped-fin type; staggered-fin type; welded-fin type; and rolled-fin type.

Currently, steel-aluminum composite finned tubes are widely used. They combine the pressure resistance of steel pipes with the high thermal conductivity of aluminum, and are manufactured by bonding the two materials together on specialized machinery. Under operating conditions of 210℃, their contact thermal resistance is virtually zero.
